Specification of Polyethylene PE1000 sheet – UHMW
offers a higher wear resistance and impact strength compared to PE300 and PE500. It is extremely strong with excellent wear resistance due to a very low coefficient of friction. It also has excellent chemical resistance and very low moisture absorption. Polyethylene PE1000 sheet - UHMW is food contact approved if supplied in virgin grade. Please note that PAR supply black and green colours in regen as standard, which does not carry food contact approval.
Temperature:
Natural (Virgin) Colour: -200°C to +80°C (+120°C short term).
Black and Green Colour: -150°C to +80°C (+120°C short term).
Key Features: Very low coefficient of friction, performs well at low temperatures and very low moisture absorption.
Applications: Chain guides, cutting boards, scrapers, star wheels, wear strips, conveyor equipment and chute linings.
